She is sure it's a ploy of power companies who want the air conditioners pumping. "Outside the constant metallic hum of air conditioners drown out the sweet sounds of the birds... windows are sealed shut, but they spray chemical air freshners around their house to make it smell 'spingtime fresh'. Oh, the insanity!"
